Where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Kenya, though my childhood was not confined to one specific place in my home country. My father was a government employee and many times his bosses moved him to different places, and those moves included us as well.

Where did you go to school? I studied theology at Scott Theological College, in Kenya and then did my Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Church Music at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. Upon completing both degrees, I returned to my home country, in Kenya, for a year, and then returned to the United States to complete my Master of Arts in Philosophy and my Doctoral Studies also in Philosophy.
What do you like to do outside of work? I like to play the piano and also run for leisure. Both of these give me a sense of relaxation, though sometimes I find myself running to the shelves to read a philosophy book. I guess it's in my blood.
What did you do before ministry? I was a high school teacher, believe it or not. I am not sure that was my calling, but I did influence some lives there.
